Never did I think of joining politics. Call me naive or an idealist, but this is the dream I know could be realized if I only get the courage to go back in school and learn what I need to learn. I did go through College but I focused on a totally different course back then. I tried to get to the track that I wish to have in my sophomore year but I was the 11th candidate in the list while the college only got ten. Those were the days when you would think maybe you are not meant to be in that path in the first place.
Now, eleven years after, I wish I can go back in time to try harder and push for my dream. The twist of fate may not be where I am now, career-wise. I may already be working my way towards having a lucrative and fulfilling career by now.
Why only now, you ask? Being in a career path that is closest to touching the minds of the youth, I became a Trainer. I was hoping that was enough for me to say I got to fulfill my dream--after all, the people I work with will definitely use the things I teach them now as they apply their knowledge and skills to fulfill their job description. Then again, I only get to do half of my dream. I don't own the place that I work in. And I will never be... unless...
So I now plan to start in the right foot this time, going back to the track I once missed. But first things first-- I have to be eliminate my tons of debt and have enough savings. The next entries I will be posting here will be my follow-up reports on my journey towards that goal. May my ever-loving Star Wars' idol--Yoda's force be with me.
